WESTFIELD’S RELOVED MARKET MAKES VINTAGE SHOPPING INSTAGRAMMABLE

By: Erica Commisso

On September 5 and 6, a two-day immersive event is celebrating circular fashion and pre-loved pieces in Los Angeles’ Century City neighbourhood. The pop-up, called Reloved Market, will boast immersive installations, celebrity-loved vintage curators and brands, allowing visitors to discover rare finds, iconic vintage looks, and collectable items as well as ready-to-wear pieces surrounded by exclusive experiences that highlight circularity and the creativity involved in secondhand fashion.

The event will take place from noon to 7 p.m. on both weekend days, and participating installations include curated denim by celebrity-loved brand LENNY, which will source standout pieces beloved by style icons and industry insiders alike, an expertly curated collection of vintage designer accessories and handbags by The Vintage Marche, a RELOVED library offering books, editorials, photography and independent magazines, and more.

There are also other creative outlets to express individuality and indulge, too, from a TEZZA photo booth that’s designed to feel like an editorial studio and complimentary photo editing tools, a vintage record listening corner, a denim art sculptural installation made entirely from reclaimed denim, and there’s also a partnership with Casetta to enjoy handcrafted ice cream along the journey through circular fashion.

On-the-ground styling advice is also an option for those looking for expert opinion and insight about vintage pieces and personal style, with the hope that the advice will allow visitors to keep a more open mind about vintage and preloved pieces adding value to a wardrobe.

“More than a shopping experience,” says the event’s press release, “Reloved Market is a destination for vintage lovers, collectors and creators to discover rare finds, explore immersive installations and experience a thoughtfully curated world inspired by timeless, sustainable style.”

Admission to the event is free, as the Reloved Market pop-up in the Westfield atrium is one aspect of the space’s more permanent pre-loved and circular efforts that reduce waste and is part of the company’s greater initiatives, which include Reloved Market pop-ups at Westfield locations across the United States, in cities like New York and Chicago and more and offer influencer-curated selections and other unique and immersive experiences. The first Westfield Reloved Markets happened in Europe in April and lasted throughout the summer in countries like Germany and Austria, before expanding to more western countries like Spain, where locale-specific content creators from major cultural hubs like Barcelona even showed off and sold some of their pieces while mingling with fellow vintage lovers. The Stratford City version, for example, lasted four days in June 2026 and included a partnership with Shelter which allowed four London, England-area stylists–Lorenzo Posocco, Matthew Josephs, Lee Trigg and Nayaab Tania–to curate looks from Shelter’s secondhand stock.

The idea is that the Reloved Market, in every form and iteration and pop-up, will extend the lifespan of garments by giving preloved pieces a second chance while simultaneously reducing textile waste, proving that the future of fashion does not always have to begin with something new and that creativity and personal style can be born–and shown off–in many forms.
